Minka Kelly is best recognized for her breakout role as cheerleader Lyla Garrity on NBC’s critically acclaimed drama Friday Night Lights. Though her portrayal of Lyla, the girlfriend of star quarterback Jason Street, may be her biggest claim to fame thus far, she has previously appeared on NBC’s American Dreams, Nickelodeon’s Drake and Josh and WB’s What I Like About You. She also starred in the film The Kingdom (2007).
